Step by step guide
Step 1 - Norex membership
In order to participate in the auction you need to hold an Norex membership. It is free of charge to apply for membership and the process only takes you a few minutes. Once your membership application has been approved, you will receive an email confirmation and you can place your first bid.
As a member you are granted access to Norex member lounge that lets you monitor your transactions and place product alerts notifying you about stock changes minute by minute 24/7.
Step 2 - Log on and place bid
As a member you can place bids on all active auctions any time of the day. To place a bid simply enter the amount for the package that you are interested check to terms and conditions checkbox and commit transaction using the button named “place bid”. It is free of charge to place a bid.
Step 3 - Public bids
All auction bids are public and all visitors can follow the bidding online. For each auction package there is a set date and time for when the countdown starts. The countdown lasts at least 3.5 minutes from the last registered bid. If a new bid is placed within 3.5 minutes from the previous bid a new countdown starts. When no bids has been placed for more than 3.5 minutes the auction is closed and a winner is announced.
Step 4 - Winning bid - whats next
If you have placed the highest bid when the auction closes, and it has reached the reservation price, you have won the auction package. You will also receive an email confirming that you won the auction. Once this is done please contact Norex as soon as possible to convert the winning to a legally binding order with specified payment terms and delivery requests.
If you have placed the highest bid when the auction closes, but it has not reached the reservation price, you have not won the auction package. The products are not sold and will therefore soon be available on our website.
