Mild steels for general use

In HD Galvanized, the good workability and strength properties of modern steel sheet are combined with good resistance to corrosion. If these properties are put to use, HD Galvanized can contribute towards better and lighter structures.

Mild steels for pressing

HD Galvanized is available in the whole span of properties ranging from extra-mild material for manual working or advanced pressing operations, right up to very high-strength materials. The surface has a uniform appearance which provides a good substrate for painting. This is because no lead is included in the zinc layer. This also reduces the risk of cracking of the coating during working and results in better protection against corrosion.

High strength steels

HD Galvanized is used for products that need protection against corrosion, such as washing machines, fans and ventilation ducts. This grade is also used for cars, where its high strength and good workability are put to use.
